QB Jayden Daniels, who is in his fifth year of college and second year at LSU, is making some noise. He was ranked as the ninth-best quarterback in the league by ESPN.

Daniels decided to move to LSU before the 2017 season, earned the starting position, and had a successful first campaign under Brian Kelly, according to ESPN.

PFF reports that Daniels passed for 2,943 yards last season and ran for 1,079 more, excluding sack yardage. According to ESPN, Daniels’ performance against Ole Miss and Alabama turned around LSU’s season and put the Tigers on a 10-win trajectory.

Against Florida, Daniels had his greatest passing performance, completing 72% of his passes for 349 yards and three touchdowns. It’s difficult to find many negative reviews of the work Daniels accomplished in 2022.

He persevered through injuries while regularly keeping LSU in the lead. His quickness at the quarterback position gave the LSU offence a dimension that it hasn’t had in a while.
