Jalen Carter, a defensive lineman for the Georgia Bulldogs who was taken ninth overall in the 2023 NFL Draft and considered a generation talent, will take much work for Georgia to replace this season.
One of those expected to make up for the lost performance is junior defensive lineman Nazir Stackhouse, believed to be among the top defensive tackle prospects in the 2024 NFL draft.
Stackhouse had a solid performance for the back-to-back national champions during the previous season. His stat sheet included 33 tackles, three tackles for loss, 14 quarterback hurries, and one blocked kick. He also had a total of 14 quarterback hurries.
The 6-foot-3, 330-pound native of Stone Mountain, Georgia, has a superb set of teammates that may deflect the attention of the opposition offensive line. Stone Mountain is located in Georgia.
Seniors Warren Brinson and Zion Logue will handle the team’s leadership, while redshirt sophomores Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins and Justin Jefferson will provide alternating backup. This autumn, redshirt freshman Christen Miller is anticipated to participate in game action.
Another two physically dominant defensive linemen that joined the Bulldogs in the 2023 recruiting class were Jamaal Jarrett and Jordan Hall, both of whom were recruited by the Bulldogs.
