WATCH: Jahmyr Gibbs talks about his time at Alabama
Jahmyr Gibbs, a former Alabama running back who transferred from Georgia Tech in the offseason of 2022, played for the Crimson Tide for only one year.
His offensive impact was enormous, and he is now a potential first-round pick in the NFL draft of 2023.
Gibbs led the team in rushing with 926 yards on 151 carries and seven touchdowns. In addition, he led the team with 44 catches, 444 receiving yards, and three touchdowns.
He is projected to be the second running back selected in the draft, following Texas’ Bijan Robinson.
Gibbs is anticipated to be drafted in the second half of Day 1 despite many running backs being no longer selected in the first round.
