The University of Georgia has become a production line for players destined for the National Football League because of the efforts of Georgia head football coach Kirby Smart.
The Bulldogs have had the most players selected from a single school in any NFL draught, with 15 players coming from that school’s roster in the 2022 draught.
Georgia remained in first place in the 2023 NFL Draught despite the competition. The Bulldogs selected ten players in their most recent draught, with three coming in the first round.

It is predicted that Lassiter, who also has exceptional talents in covering, will serve as the primary outside cornerback for the Bulldogs in the fall. Cornerbacks that are robust and don’t struggle against the run are highly valued in the NFL.
- Sedrick Van Pran, positioned in the middle
If Georgia’s Sedrick Van Pran had entered the NFL Draught in 2023, he would have been taken in the first round. His return to Athens allowed Georgia to bring back its entire interior offensive line, a massive boost for the Bulldogs.
Linebacker for the defense, Nazir Stackhouse
Although Nazir Stackhouse does not have awe-inspiring numbers, he significantly impacts the match’s outcome. Stackhouse is good at putting an end to the run. The Southeastern Conference (SEC) selected him for its first team in preparation for the fall season
Amarius Mims, the offensive tackle wearing number 5
It is projected that Mims, a former five-star recruit, will begin his career with the Georgia Bulldogs in 2023 as the starting correct tackle.
The offensive lineman, who is 6 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 330 pounds, will see the 2023 season significantly influence his future status in the NFL. Mims is an outstanding player in terms of run defense.
