3 offensive keys to a Clemson win over Tennessee

Dabo Swinney and the Clemson football program are just days away from their 2022 Orange Bowl matchup with Josh Heupel and the Tennessee Volunteers.

The Tigers 11-2 (8-0 ACC) last took the field in the ACC Championship, where Cade Klubnik took over for former starting quarterback DJ Uiagalelei,

leading the team to a dominant 39-10 win over North Carolina. Finishing the season ranked No.7 in the country,

Though Clemson heads into this matchup as the favorite, we all know that anything can happen in college football.

1. Establish the run The addition of Cade Klubnik under center has definitely opened the Tigers’ offense up,

but the team needs to remember what they’re best at. Clemson should be a run-first team with arguably the best running back in the ACC in Will Shipley.

2. Win the battle up front This matchup has a high over-under for a reason. The offenses are expected to put on a show this Friday.

3. Put Cade Klubnik in good situations I feel comfortable saying Cade Klubnik is a stud after watching his performance against North Carolina in the ACC Championship.
