A look at the position battles to watch for Georgia during spring practice

The Georgia Bulldogs enter spring practice as college football’s defending national champion for the second straight year.

Although the Bulldogs remain at the top of the sport, that’s not to say there aren’t questions about several positions entering a new year.

Georgia lost a number of key playmakers from the 2022 team that went 15-0 and captured the national championship,

which leaves the team set for some important position battles going into the new season.

Those competitions among Bulldogs for the right to start in 2023 may not be decided by the time G-Day arrives on Saturday,

April 15, but the team’s upcoming 15 practices should give everyone a chance to watch the players closely to determine who deserves the top spot on the depth chart when the time comes to make that decision.

Georgia has a number of positions seemingly up for grabs entering spring ball.
