Aaron Rodgers’ Super Bowl Win: Results, Statistics, and More

Currently in his 18th NFL season with the Green Bay Packers, the four-time MVP, Aaron Rodgers, only has one Super Bowl win under his belt.

The Packers selected Rodgers in the first round of the 2005 NFL draft. In 2008, when Brett Favre retired,

he became the starting quarterback. Before Rodgers joined the team,

the Green Bay Packers had won the Super Bowl three times- in 1967, 1968, and 1997.

Aaron Rodgers made his first Super Bowl appearance on February 6, 2011, at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington,

Texas. In turn, the Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl against the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25.

The game was shocking because the Steelers had previously participated in eight Super Bowls and won six.

However, by halftime, they were already down 21-10.

The results might have been different if the Steelers had been on their game.

However, their offense was lacking, and Rashard Mendenhall’s fumble ultimately led to the Packers’ winning touchdown.

The Packers’ defense was weak after halftime, without Charles Woodson and Sam Shields.

However, it didn’t affect them much, thanks to Ben Roethlisberger’s multiple poor decisions.

Roethlisberger ended the game with a 77.4 passer rating, 263 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions.
