BREAKING: Alabama lands Georgia LB transfer Trezmen Marshall

Alabama’s football program received a huge boost on Thursday night when they landed a commitment from Georgia transfer Trezmen Marshall.

Marshall spent the past three seasons in Athens.

The former Bulldog was recruited out of high school by the Alabama coaching staff but ultimately chose to commit to Georgia.

Marshall tallied 30 tackles, one sack, and one interception while playing for Kirby Smart.

Now, the Georgia native will be looking to make an immediate impact for an Alabama defense that saw numerous players declare for the NFL Draft.

One of those is Henry To’oTo’o which could be one of the largest losses this offseason.

Not to mention, Alabama linebacker Demouy Kennedy recently entered the transfer portal as well.

The assumption is that Marshall would compete for the inside linebacker spot alongside rising junior Deontae Lawson.

His knowledge and experience from an elite program like Georgia will certainly help his chances of seeing

meaningful playing time in Tuscaloosa next season. This is huge news for the Crimson Tide!
