Clemson among the midseason College Football Playoff projections

Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers are off to a great start to their 2022 season and have been ranked accordingly in response.

Regional Editor for the College Wire network Patrick Conn recently released his midseason College Football Playoff projections,

with Swinney and the Tigers filling out the final spot in his top 4.

There have been varying opinions on this Clemson team this season,

though the team has earned more respect around the country in recent weeks.

The top three include the names to be expected, with Georgia ranking No.1, Ohio State ranking No.2, and Alabama ranked No.3, respectively.

Clemson’s ranking of No.4 edges out the Tigers’ three biggest competitors for the final spot, in my opinion, with USC ranking No.5, Tennessee ranking No.6, and Michigan ranking No.7.

Here’s a look at what Conn had to say about the Tigers: After a disappointing 2021 season by Clemson Tigers standards,

DJ Uiagalelei and the team are having a bounceback season.

Currently leading the ACC Atlantic division with a 6-0, 4-0 record.

They were able to avoid the upset with their victory over North Carolina State.

If they keep winnings, the Tigers should return to the CFP after a one-year absence.

Clemson travels to Tallahassee to take on the Florida State Seminoles.

Clemson’s upcoming matchup with Florida State on the road will be a major test for this team.
