CHOOSE THE RIGHT CAMPER, CHOOSE THE RIGHT CAMPER,

Of the 15 freshmen who joined Clemson a semester early and arrived in time for spring practice, four are defensive linemen.

Now two weeks into spring ball, those four young players are impressing coach Dabo Swinney.

"They are as advertised," Swinney said after Clemson's first spring scrimmage Wednesday.

"These are really good players that have been incredibly well-coached coming from really good programs,

and they have not been overwhelmed. It's been encouraging to see."

Leading the group is Clemson's lone five-star prospect from the 2023 recruiting class: Peter Woods.

The lineman out of Thompson High School in Alabama is the highest-rated Clemson signee since Bryan Bresee,

and Myles Murphy in the class of 2020. Both of those former five-stars are now top prospects in this year's NFL Draft.
