Dabo Swinney and the Tigers will be, without arguably, the team’s best player in their Orange Bowl matchup with the Tennessee Volunteers on December 30th.

Swinney announced today that stat defensive lineman Myles Murphy is opting out of the Orange Bowl ,

and will declare for the 2023 NFL Draft. Murphy is currently projected to be a high first-round pick,

with most mock drafts having the star defensive end in the top ten of the draft.

It was a solid year for Murphy as he recorded 6.5 sacks and 11 tackles for loss.

His season earned him first-team All-ACC honors.

Murphy was an excellent player for the program who burst onto the scene right away during his freshman season.

We wish him the best as he moves toward a successful NFL career.
