CU Buffs offer No. 1 overall 2025 prospect David Sanders Jr.

Another Sanders in Boulder doesn’t sound bad to me, especially when it’s the No. 1 overall prospect in the class of 2025.

On Friday, offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. announced an offer from Colorado. Sanders,

who hails from Charlotte, North Carolina, is ranked No. 1 overall in his class by 247Sports,

the 247Sports composite and Rivals. On3’s consensus ranks him No. 2.

The 6-foot-6, 255-pound lineman has received offers from several other top college football programs,

including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Michigan and Tennessee.

While the Buffs have competition for Sanders, we’ve learned quickly to never underestimate Deion Sanders’ recruiting abilities.

Colorado’s 2025 class ranks No. 2 overall with a lone commitment from five-star wide receiver Winston Watkins Jr.

247Sports recruiting analyst Andrew Ivins on David Sanders Jr.:

A promising young, athletic offensive tackle prospect with the desired measurables.

Believed to be a shade under 6-foot-6, 255 pounds heading into his sophomore season.

More importantly, has verified 36.5-inch arms to go along with a near 81-inch wingspan.

Flashed as a youngster at the FBU Freshman All-American Bowl where he worked at left tackle and held his own against other all-stars.
