ESPN predicts who will win Georgia's starting quarterback role

The biggest story around the Georgia football team this fall will be the starting quarterback battle.

Carson Beck is expected to compete with Gunner Stockton and Brock Vandagriff to see who will start at quarterback for the Bulldogs.

None of Georgia’s three options at quarterback has a tremendous amount of experience.

Carson Beck, who is Georgia’s most experienced option, looked the best in the spring game,

but Vandagriff and Stockton offer more mobility than Beck.

All three quarterbacks are entering their first season with new offensive coordinator Mike Bobo.

We feel that Carson Beck is the favorite to win Georgia’s starting quarterback role, but Beck does not have the job locked up yet.

Kirby Smart and Georgia went with Stetson Bennett over JT Daniels in the Dawgs’ most recent quarterback battle.

A big reason why Bennett won the job was because of his mobility.

The importance of having a mobile quarterback in college should not be underestimated.

Vandagriff and Stockton have much more to offer the Georgia rushing attack than Beck.

Georgia’s first two games of the season are against Tennessee-Martin and Ball State.

The Bulldogs do not have to be fully set at quarterback until Week 3 at home against South Carolina.
