Former Alabama starting OL Javion Cohen announces transfer to Miami

It did not take long for former Alabama starter and offensive guard Javion Cohen to find a new home.

On Sunday, the Alabama native announced that he was transferring to Miami via his Twitter account.

He became the fifth Alabama transfer to find his new home within the span of two weeks.

The others that have announced their transfer destinations are Traeshon Holden (Oregon),

Khyree Jackson (Oregon), Christian Leary (UCF), JoJo Earle (TCU), and Jack Martin (Houston).

Cohen started in 25 of the 27 games that he played in throughout three seasons.

He played a key role along the Tide’s offensive front.

The two-year Alabama starter will now head to Coral Gables to play for former Alabama assistant coach Mario Cristobal.

It will be interesting to see how he performs at a new venue and whether it improves his draft stock or not.
