Former Crimson Tide QB, Paul Tyson, to join Clemson Tigers

After two years with the Alabama Crimson Tide, Paul Tyson left Tuscaloosa in 2021 via the transfer portal.

Tyson was a four-star quarterback coming out of high school and was the No. 321 overall prospect in his class.

Five days after entering the portal Tyson ended up with the Arizona State Sun Devils.

The Sun Devils had a tough 2022 campaign and fired their head coach,

Herm Edwards, during the season. At the conclusion of the Sun Devils’ regular season,

Tyson entered the portal for a second time.

Today, he chose to join Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers.

He will likely be competing for a backup role behind the highly anticipated Cade Klubnik.

This is interesting considering some view Clemson as a rival of the Crimson Tide ,
