Although Georgia has to replace two-time national championship winner Stetson Bennett, the Bulldogs’ quarterback room looks to be in good hands for seasons to come.
Former Georgia quarterback and the SEC’s all-time leading passer, Aaron Murray, gave his take on Beck’s game on Monday at ESP’s Big Ball Fore All golf tournament.
Beck completed 26 of 35 passes for 310 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions in mop-up duties in 2022.
Murray says that Beck’s supporting cast has what it takes to make the transition an easy one.
“The more, the merrier, man,” Murray said. You can’t have enough quarterbacks,
especially in this age when a guy tomorrow can pick up and hit the transfer portal.
You have to be able to stockpile that position, you know, create competition.”
