Former Tiger is transferring to play for Deion Sanders and Colorado

A former Clemson linebacker announced via social media Monday where he will be heading to play football next season.

After some decision-making, linebacker LaVonta Bentley has announced,

he will be heading to the Pac-12 to play for new head coach Deion Sanders at Colorado.

Sanders has become one of the most polarizing figures in college football over the past year,

and it seems Bentley wants to become a part of what he is building at Colorado.

Bentley played 40 career games (2019-22) for the tigers totaling 3 tackles (11.5 for loss),

5.5 sacks, two pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 417 defensive snaps across. The junior linebacker will look to make a splash for his new team.
