Georgia offensive lineman, staff member killed in single-vehicle crash

Georgia football offensive lineman Devin Willock and team support staff member Chandler LeCroy

 were killed early Sunday in a single-vehicle car crash on the east side of Athens.

Willock, 20, was a third-year player from New Milford,

N.J. who started at guard in two games this season and played the past two seasons after redshirting in 2020.

LeCroy, 24, was a football recruiting staff member and a UGA graduate.

Two other members of the football program were injured,

The father of Georgia offensive tackle Warren McClendon said his son was one of the other passengers.

Recruiting staffer Tory Bowles, sustained serious injuries,

 according to a post Sunday afternoon by the Prince Avenue Christian Girls Basketball,

 Twitter account which said she was a 2015 graduate of the school.
