The Georgia Bulldogs have extended a scholarship offer to lengthy offensive tackle recruit Deontae Armstrong.
Armstrong is a four-star recruit and is a member of the class of 2024.
The talented offensive lineman plays high school football for St. Edward High School in Lakewood,
Ohio. St. Edward won a state championship during the 2022 high school football season.
Per 247Sports, Deontae Armstrong is ranked as the No. 299 recruit in the junior class.
Armstrong is the No. 23 offensive tackle and the No. 10 player in Ohio.
It is always tough to recruit against Ohio State for the top players in Ohio.
The Buckeyes may have an inside track for Armstrong, but Georgia should not be counted out quite yet.
Deontae Armstrong has over 20 scholarship offers.
The 6-foot-7, 280-pound offensive tackle is a good student. Armstrong’s recent offers include Purdue, Michigan, Ohio State, and West Virginia.
Deontae Armstrong visited Penn State and Kentucky during the fall of 2022.
