Jude Bellingham’s move to Real Madrid progressing

The final phase for signing Jude Bellingham (19) from Borussia Dortmund will begin in the next few days.

After the England international agreed to join Real Madrid, Los Blancos will take the next step and begin negotiations with Dortmund.

This will undoubtedly be the most difficult part of the process.

The German club will not go below the €150m that they asked for when Liverpool knocked on their door.

Madrid, however, don’t want to raise their offer of €100m plus €20m-€30m in variables.

Madrid believe that this stage of negotiations should begin before the end of May.

Manchester City watching on Bellingham’s decision is to join Madrid, and Liverpool and Manchester City, the two other clubs that were trying to sign him, are already aware of the player’s decision.

Despite this, especially at City, they are still waiting for talks between Real Madrid and Dortmund to collapse.

Bellingham has a contract with Dortmund until 2026 and they could force the midfielder to stay another season,

and that is where City, who are willing to offer more for the transfer and for the player’s salary, could re-enter the race.
