Michigan State’s Jayden Reed is day 2 ‘sleeper’ in NFL draft

On April 28, former Michigan State wide receiver Jayden Reed will be 23.

He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 187 pounds. Reed transferred to Michigan State in 2019 after starting his career,

 as a Freshman All-American at Western Michigan in 2018.

 He missed a year of college football due to NCAA regulations, but in the three years thereafter,

he's started all 31 games he's played in and caught 147 passes for 2,069 yards and 18 touchdowns.

 In 2021, Reed set career highs with 59 receptions for 1,026 yards and 10 touchdowns,

and he also returned two punts for scores, earning him first team All-American honors as an all-purpose player.

Reed's stock rose as a result of his stellar play in the most prestigious pre-draft exhibitions, and he was awarded the Senior Bowl .
