Mock Draft 3.0: Latest projections ahead of Super Bowl week

We are officially a week away from the Super Bowl where the game will decide the final two draft slots.

The Cincinnati Bengals and San Francisco 49ers earned their slots, however, the latter pick has been traded away a couple of times.

First, it belonged to San Francisco, who traded it to Denver. The Broncos then traded it to New Orleans for the rights to Sean Payton.

Currently, the Chicago Bears are on the clock, so to speak. Given that the team already has their franchise quarterback in place,

barring a crazy trade, they should be fielding plenty of calls for the top spot. They could hold that pick ransom.

1. Chicago Bears Will Anderson, Edge: Alabama Given that the Bears already have Justin Fields at quarterback they can focus on upgrading their defense. Anderson gives them a legit pass rusher and pocket wrecker.

2. Houston Texans Bryce Young, QB: Alabama A new head coach often means a new quarterback is going to come to town.

Former Alabama linebacker Demeco Ryans shouldn’t look much further than his alma mater and take Young.

3. Arizona Cardinals Peter Skoronski, Offensive Tackle: Northwestern Last season quarterback Kyler Murray was sacked just 25 times in 11 games, which breaks down to 2.3 times per game.

4. Indianapolis Colts C.J. Stroud, Quarterback: Ohio State The Colts tried trading for veteran quarterbacks over the past two seasons to no avail.

5. Seattle Seahawks via the Denver Broncos Jalen Carter, Defensive Line: Georgia The Seahawks desperately need a presence on their defensive front, and Jalen Carter can provide that instantly.
