NFL: Davante Adams remains one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.
A change of quarterback didn’t stop him from having an incredible season in 2022. He finished last season with 100 receptions, 1,516 receiving yards, and 14 touchdowns.
He was sure to remind everyone that he didn’t need Aaron Rodgers to be one of the best in the league.
However, much has changed for the Raiders since he joined the team.
The Raiders have moved on from quarterback Derek Carr, they’ve signed Jimmy Garoppolo to be their starting quarterback in 2023, and now there is turmoil with their star running back Josh Jacobs.
That turmoil has led to Davante Adams feeling some type of way.

In mid-July Davante Adams appeared on NFL Total Access and reacted to the significant news regarding Josh Jacobs,
making it clear that he thinks the team needs Jacobs if the Raiders are going to achieve their “elite aspirations” this season.
“If we really want to have a shot at winning the Super Bowl and having all the elite aspirations that we do, we’re gonna need that guy,” Adams said on the show according to NFL.com.
“So I’m praying that we can still figure something out, but also understanding where Josh is coming from and trying to coach him through it at the same time.”
