Former Ohio State safety Jantzen Dunn announces transfer destination

Former Ohio State safety Jantzen Dunn was the most recent Buckeye to enter the transfer portal and he became the first to announce his new home.

The Kentucky native has decided he will go back home to the Bluegrass State and play for the Kentucky Wildcats.

Dunn was the No. 10 safety in the 2021 recruiting class according to 247Sports composite rankings and chose OSU over the likes of Kentucky,

 Louisville, and Tennessee. Dunn suffered a season-ending injury during his freshman year,

 and was never able to get his footing thereafter.

 Dunn continued to battle injury during the spring and was only able to contribute sparingly on special teams play this season.

Dunn’s departure means the 2021 class has zero safeties left from that class.
