Odds for Lions first-round picks offer some interesting expectations on Detroit's draft

For fans who think they really know what the Lions are going to do in the 2023 NFL draft

, there is a chance to put your money where your mouth is.

Specifically, knowing what will happen with Detroit’s two first-round picks can be valuable.

The odds for which players the Lions will draft at No. 6 and No. 18 overall were posted recently at BetMichigan.com.

It sure looks like defense with the pick at six.

The odds-on favorite for the pick acquired from the Rams is Clemson DT Bryan Bresee.

He’s followed by Texas Tech EDGE Tyree Wilson, Georgia CB Kelee Ringo,

Clemson EDGE Myles Murphy and Georgia DT Jalen Carter.

At No. 18, it’s still almost exclusively defense.

Oregon’s athletic CB Christian Gonzalez is the top,

followed closely by four other defenders and Notre Dame TE Michael Mayer.
