PFF has Drake Maye as highest-graded QB in Power 5

UNC quarterback Drake Maye continues to make headlines for his play here in the 2022 season. And rightfully so.

The redshirt freshman is coming off another big game for the Tar Heels,

throwing for 388 yards and five touchdowns in the win over Pitt.

After the game, the national media started to take notice of Maye and his performance as he’s now up to 2,671 passing yards and 29 passing touchdowns.

He’s also added 439 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns to his stats as well.

While Maye is still considered a to behind some other quarterbacks in the Heisman Trophy race,

Pro Football Focus had high praise for the quarterback.
