PFF ranks former Georgia star as NFL's best RB heading into 2023

Heading into the 2023 season, Pro Football Focus has Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb as the top-ranked ball carrier in the NFL.

Chubb, a former Georgia Bulldog who was selected by Cleveland in the second round of the 2018 NFL draft, is coming off another fantastic year with the Browns.

Heading into the 2023 season, Pro Football Focus has Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb as the top-ranked ball carrier in the NFL.

Chubb, UGA’s second all-time leading rusher, had more than 1,000 yards after contact in 2022 and forced 83 missed tackles last year for the Browns.

Through his first five seasons as a pro, Chubb has amassed an astounding 6,341 yards (5.2 yards per carry), 48 touchdowns and 119 receptions.

Chubb was the only former Georgia running back to make the list of the top-32 backs.

I was surprised not to see the versatile D’Andre Swift make the list,

especially after his trade to the Philadelphia Eagles, where, if he stays healthy, can have a huge season.
