SEC Talent: Anonymous Coach Breaks Down Ohio State's Roster

The media has the Ohio State Buckeyes as one of the early favorites to win the college football national championship this coming season.

But what do fellow coaches think about the Buckeyes' chances to get over the hump. ump.

Athlon Sports recently released an article detailing the thoughts of an anonymous coach on Ohio State.

The coach explained that the problem with the Buckeyes isn't the roster or coaching staff, but rather the expectations.

"This is the only roster in the league that could've beat Georgia last year," the coach said. "Their talent matches the SEC at every position group,

year in and year out. The perspective is the problem because if you lose to Michigan, the season is a bust.

The program is in great hands and [Ryan] Day is a top-tier head coach. It's just the standard is what it is."

Nothing proves the coach's point more than the calls of some Buckeye fans who wanted coach Ryan Day fired after losing to Michigan in two-straight seasons.

While this belief is likely only held by a minor part of the fanbase, it shows how high the expectations are on a yearly basis.
