One of the most exciting players from the 2022 NFL season was former Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence .
who broke out in his second year under new head coach Doug Pederson in the new-look Jaguars offense.
Lawrence’s progression was terrific to watch as the young quarterback went from arguably the worst situation any rookie quarterback has ever been in,
to a system where he can flourish. While the talent surrounding Lawrence wasn’t filled with top-tier studs,
it was enough for him to make a statement and lead his team to his first NFL playoff appearance.
The future is bright for Lawrence, who should only go up from here as he adds an excellent wide receiver in Calvin Ridley, who will return from suspension for 2023.
Our friends over at Draft Wire recently released an article combining and ranking the last three first-round quarterback classes (including 2023),
with Lawrence named the top player of the group. Here is what Natalie Miller of Draft Wire had to say about Lawrence.
