Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken will interview for the Tampa Bay Buccaneer's vacant offensive coordinator position next week, according to ESPN’s Jenna Laine.
Sources tell me that UGA offensive coordinator/QBs coach and former Bucs,
and Browns offensive coordinator Todd Monken will interview next week for the Bucs’ offensive coordinator position.
Monken has been a popular name among NFL offensive coordinator searches after leading a 2022 Bulldogs,
offense that finished fifth nationally in both total offense (501 yards per game) and points per game (41).
Monken is currently the highest-paid assistant coach in college football at $2.1 million per year, according to USA TODAY data.
Monken held the same role for the Buccaneers from 2016-2018.
He spoke on his status in Athens the week leading up to the Peach Bowl.
