What Jesse Minter said during spring football regarding the Michigan football defence

Many people didn't think Michigan football had much of a chance to improve its defence in 2022.

The narrative was that the Wolverines would significantly regress under a new defensive coordinator,

The Wolverines won all but the championship game,

and Minter is now in his second season as the defensive coordinator.

So, how does that appear? Who is grabbing attention, and how has Minter handled it?

On Tuesday, he held a press conference to talk about how his team has appeared throughout spring training.

It’s just a whole ‘nother level of familiarity with the guys with kind of how we operate here, how coach (Harbaugh) runs spring.

 So just tremendous cohesiveness. Everybody understands each other’s expectations, they understand my expectations.

 I understand coach Harbaugh’s expectations, I understand the players’ expectations. So just a really good level of that.
