Georgia WR Kearis Jackson to play in East-West Shrine Bowl

Georgia receiver Kearis Jackson has accepted an invitation to play in the East-West Shrine Bowl,

 all-star game joining fellow Bulldog Robert Beal Jr.

Jackson appeared in 55 games over his five year career in Athens as a receiver,

kick returner and punt return specialist.

The Fort Valley, Ga., native racked up 78 catches for 1107 yards (14.2 avg.) with four touchdowns as a receiver.

Jackson returned 35 kickoffs for 805 yards (23 avg.) and 42 punts for 338 yards (8.0) as a return specialist.

The game will take place on Feb. 2 at 8:30 p.m. in Las Vegas and will air on The NFL Network.
