Since their first season more than a century ago, in 1896, the Tigers have gone on to win three national titles thanks to the outstanding talents that have passed through Clemson.
The program has been fortunate enough to have two of the greatest quarterbacks in college football history play for them.
Clemson has produced many legendary quarterbacks over its illustrious history, including Steve Fuller, Tajh Boyd, Charlie Whitehurst, and many more. Despite their legendary status at Clemson, there are only two quarterbacks who can really claim to be the best in school history.
Both Trevor Lawrence and Deshaun Watson are among college football’s all-time greats at quarterback, and it’s not only because they played for Clemson recently.
These two quarterbacks stood out as the most deserving additions to our Clemson all-time team. Who was the greatest, however, is the true issue at hand.
