The 2022 CrossFit Games return to Madison on Wednesday, August 3.
For the fifth year in a row, Madison is playing host to the competition,
which brings in hundreds of athletes from over 50 countries to compete for the title Fittest on Earth.According to Destination Madison,
they expect more than $12 million to be spent across the Madison area as 400 athletes
and thousands of their fans take over the Capital City.
The games are set from Wednesday through Sunday,
and CBS will have live coverage of the biggest competition on Sunday from noon to 2 p.m.
Most of the events will take place on the Alliant Energy Center grounds,
but for the first time this year, the games will also host one competition on the Capitol Square on Friday morning.
