ESPN FPI projects the outcome of 2023 Georgia football season

ESPN’s College Football Power Index (FPI) was officially released on Tuesday for the upcoming 2023 season.

This advanced tool takes into account a wide range of factors, from previous performance to remaining schedules, to predict how well each team will fare over the course of the season.

Despite winning back-to-back national titles, the Georgia Bulldogs were ranked at No. 3 in the FPI rankings, which is lower than many fans expected. Ohio State checked in at No. 1 and Alabama at No. 2.

Currently, Georgia is the favorite to win the College Football Playoff National Championship for the third consecutive year, per BetMGM. Georgia’s title odds are currently listed at +225.
